nomlog editorial department original project | Creating a new space calendar vol.1 Next-generation cherry-blossom viewing -Consideration-

This is Kanda from nomlog editorial staff.
I'm mainly in charge of checking the schedule of articles (the one who hits the butt when the deadline is approaching) and access analysis.
I never thought that writing work would come to me... However, I would like to start as soon as possible because of the voices of other editorial staff saying, "Freshness is important for this kind of thing!" (It's been over a month since it happened.)

Once again, the theme of this "online hanami" is to trace the origins of "hanami" in Japan and actually try it online! something like.
And here are the custom rules I set:
After the actual event, we will summarize the contents considered by the editorial department.
Know the original "hanami" and experience spring.
When someone says, "Let's go see the cherry blossoms," you probably imagine an outdoor drinking party where you sit under a cherry tree with a blue sheet and drink delicious sake.
However, in selecting the theme this time, I was able to deepen my knowledge by going back to the origins of what "hanami" is and what it means in the first place.
Furthermore, by preparing an environment to enjoy the cherry blossoms, they thought about how to see (or show) the cherry blossoms, and imagined the scenery of cherry blossoms rather than a real cherry blossom viewing, and felt the arrival of spring. .
It's not just an online drinking party.
Online cherry blossom viewing may not be a rare activity in the current corona misfortune situation.
After all, it's an online drinking party, right? You may hear that voice, but this is daringly different. Let's just say.
At an online drinking party, there is basically only one speaker, and it is difficult to have small voice conversations with people that can be done at a real drinking party.
If someone doesn't let go of the mic, they might end up drinking while watching a video or listening to the radio.
This time, we had a mission to prepare and announce the loot to enjoy the cherry blossom viewing, and to create and announce a tanka.
Each had their own presentation time, and by showing off their thoughts, I had a strong sense of participating, and I think that each of us was able to face each other carefully.
In addition, the cherry blossom viewing had already started during the preparation time for the announcement, and it seemed that the excitement increased as I wondered how everyone would react.
And the part that I felt was quite important was the time setting of 100 minutes.
As it is said to be the best time for drinking, there was no time to stretch out, and before I knew it, it was almost over. It may be better to have everything in moderation and not enough.
But something is missing.
I felt spring. I got the feeling that I was participating.
However, when asked whether they share the same “place” and feel a sense of unity, a “?” comes to mind.
The outside air that you can feel in a real cherry blossom viewing, the smell of plants and falling flower petals, the liveliness of conversations that can be heard here and there, and the afterglow on the way home.
There are familiar faces beyond the screen, a glimpse of individual lives, and the novelty of visiting a home was one of the pleasures, but what conditions do you have for something that feels like you are sharing a “place”? Is it necessary?
Here's what I thought as a result of doing this online cherry blossom viewing at nomlog editorial department.
A. Giving the same stimulus to hearing and sight: Possible online
・Play the same BGM
・Try to match the same background and tone
・Try watching the same video (it looks better if you use VR)
・Try reviewing the recordings and screen captures.
B. Matching Taste and Smell: Online if you're prepared
・Try eating the same food (does it feel like you are eating food from the same table?)
C. How to Compensate for Physical Distancing: Not Online?
・This pursuit will continue to be verified through future seasonal events
What do you think.
As a member of NOMURA Co., Ltd., who thinks about and creates the future space, nomlog editorial department will continue to try.
The editorial department is currently working hard on the summer edition of the next new Kukan Saijiki, so please look forward to it.
I would appreciate it if you could check it again.
