The early spring of refraining from going out has passed, and the rainy season is about to begin.
Finally, even in Tokyo, the self-restraint has been eased little by little.
It's already crunchy in the house! Some people say, and some people are surprisingly enjoying the stay home...
Having said that, I recently bought a game console for the first time in many years,
I feel like I can still enjoy my house.
And my boom is, yes... "Atsume Animal Crossing".

"Atsume Animal Crossing Forest" which is a big boom worldwide, not just my boom
In this game, you can enjoy a slow life with animals in the forest, such as fishing, catching insects, and collecting furniture.
Actually, this is the art industry such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art,
Fashion industry such as Marc Jacobs, Valentino, etc.
Different fields are entering one after another, and it is showing more and more excitement.

In the midst of this, the familiar "Futa Museum" in the series has been a hot topic for some time.
A museum in the game that displays collected fish, insects, and fossils.
An owl character named Futa is the curator.
Rumor has it that in this work, the exhibition space has been super-powered up...
This is something I can't miss, even as a museum exhibition planner.
From the perspective of exhibition space and production, I would like to experience the museum that curator Futa is proud of.

The exhibition composition that reproduces the history of evolution is amazing!

The entrance to the fossil area

Fouta's museum arranges the fossils in evolutionary order.
The floor of the entrance is also decorated with a tree of genealogy graphics and video effects.
It seems that it is a device that invites you to the back with a sense of excitement.
When I create an exhibition, I worry a lot about how to present it, not to mention the fossils and specimens.
Judging from this wonderful production, Futa looks quite skillful.

American Museum of Natural History. Arranged in systematic order across the area, black lines are drawn on the floor

It is said that it resembles the real-life exhibition at the National Museum of Nature and Science.
I also thought that it was close to the dinosaur zone of the American Museum of Natural History.
In addition, the commentary of Futa, who can be heard when donating fossils, also adds the age.
Is it linked to the composition of the exhibition? As expected of a curator.

It is a composition in which the meteorite cuts through the space diagonally and falls.

The collision of a giant meteorite, which is indispensable when talking about dinosaurs, is also expressed by making full use of the high space.
The viewpoint switching and functions are wonderful! Please take a look.

The exhibition production that takes users into the museum experience is amazing!

The shadows of animals are lined up from the left

Animals that live in Animal Crossing. It's fun to think about which characters are cute,
Here, the silhouettes are arranged in order of evolutionary lineage.
For those who know the past series, it's kind of refreshing...
Humans are at the end of the phylogenetic tree. Of course I am addicted to it.
I am impressed with the exhibition production that takes visitors into the experience.

The details of the exhibition space reproduced everywhere are amazing!

(Upper left) Information sign (Lower left) Rest area (Right) Wiring, louver, firefighting equipment, inspection door, etc.

The zone boundaries are clearly marked with signage.
With an icon illustration, it is a friendly design that is easy for visitors to understand.
Electrical equipment and firefighting equipment are installed properly, and it seems that they are complying with the law (?).
Sofas and rest areas are also indispensable in the exhibition space. There is also museum fatigue.

A dream-like ecology exhibition that is difficult to realize in reality...

In the insect zone, there is a paradise of butterflies flying around in a bright space.
In reality, there is a butterfly garden at the airport in Singapore, but it doesn't fly like this.

In addition, this gourd tank is also beautiful with tremendous transparency.
An aquarium that looks transparent without distortion, it seems to be a lot of trouble if you try to make it in reality.

A big evolution of the exhibition from the previous work. From “display” to “exhibition”

In past "Animal Crossing" works, the museum displayed fossils on a square exhibition stage.
This isn't bad either, but I feel that the attempt at "exhibition direction" is more powerful in this work.
Also, the exhibition space is boldly differentiated according to the characteristics of each exhibit (insects, fish, fossils).
Awesome!

Onegai Futa! I want you to do this more...

However, as an exhibition planner,
When I see such a wonderful thing, I think "more and more!"
"I want to move and arrange the exhibition in my own way!"
"I want to donate plants too! (I did my best to breed...)"
"I want a participatory experience type exhibition!"
Greed, isn't it? I regret.

♦ ♦ ♦

The Museum of Futa, which evolves with each piece,
It may be said that it reflects the spread of the real view of museums as it is.
On the flip side, the things I want to do more at the Futa Museum are:
Even a real museum experience may not be enough...
He said that the museum needs further dedication to create a genuine experience that is not just for viewing.
I would like to tighten my loincloth while playing games at home...
